Its ubiquitous use can unknowingly be a bottleneck to business processes, despite its apparent usefulness. Excel excels (haha) at summarizing data - that's the main purpose of spreadsheets; however, Excel is often used for every other office process because it tends to be one of the first applications office workers learn to use, and it's easy to adopt to other purposes other than number crunching.

While creating a SharePoint solution for a client we ran into an unexpected problem: SharePoint doesn't accept the following characters within file and folder names:

The first thing any new website owner does is google (i.e. search) their company's name, disappointed if it doesn't appear on the first two or three pages of results.  For example, try Bulletproof Solutions; however, most customers are not searching for your company's name, but the services or products they provide.

Search engine companies such as google have programs called spiders that crawl across the world wide web, scouring websites for their content, indexing keywords based on secret algorithms.  This indexing is used by search engines to determine what websites to display to users how are looking for certain terms.
