I recently had the opportunity to install the SharePoint 2007 service pack 2 on a few SharePoint environments.  Unlike some of the problems that surrounded the install of service pack 1 I was pleasantly surprised that this service pack installed without any issues what so ever.

Service Pack 2 is a cumulative service pack containing all the fixes from sp1.   The basic install is straight forward with the caveat that if you have MOSS you have to install the WSS service pack first then second apply the MOSS service pack.

Does hiccup have 2 Cs? Does it have one C on the weekdays and 2 Cs on the weekend?

So anyway, I was writing some SharePoint itemUpdating event handlers and ran into some funny inconsistencies between when an event fires from an update done through the single item view and when the event is fired from the Edit in Data Sheet View.

When we look at a Yes/No field the AfterProperty will return a True or False in the single item view but it will return a -1 or 0 in the Data Sheet View.
So in my code where I wanted some special code to run when the Yes/No field named ‘Ready' was Yes, I had to double up my logic
